Menaba B. Patel Rashtrabhasha Arts and Commerce College
Gujarat Prantiya Rashtrabhasha Prachar Samiti was founded by Late Shri Jethalal Joshi to promote the importance of the Hindi language in Gujarat and is affiliated with Rashtrabhasha Prachar Samiti, Wardha. In 1993, the Samiti established a college offering undergraduate courses through Hindi medium, later also including Gujarati medium, with approval from Gujarat University and recognition by the UGC. Late Dr. Navneet Goswami served as the first Principal and played a key role in shaping the institution. He was succeeded by Shri Ujambhai Patel, who further strengthened the college academically and administratively. The college also gratefully remembers Late Shri Natubhai Patel for his valuable contributions to academic administration. After Shri Ujambhai Patel’s retirement in 2012, Dr. Y. D. Rajgore served as Acting Principal, followed by Dr. Kanubhai Khadadiya. At present, the college is led by Dr. Ashokbhai Patel as In-charge Principal.

Our Mission
The institution provides education in Hindi and Gujarati mediums to support students from diverse backgrounds. It aims to introduce computer and IT courses in Hindi, Gujarati, and English, organize seminars and workshops to prepare students for a competitive world, empower girls from weaker sections through skill-based programs, and offer professional and vocational courses for meaningful career development.
Inspiring excellence through academic disciplines
Dr. Ashok Patel is an in-charge Principal of the college. He is a Professor of Commerce faculty. He has an experience of 29 years. He has got doctorate in “ Investment Behaviour of NRI of Selected Districts of Gujarat”. The unique thing about him is that he is an excellent teacher when he was teaching as a professor but at present as a Principal , he equally perform his duties effectively and successfully too. In fact he has the rich knowledge of doing administration in his nature. Doing properest management is in his propensity. He has assimilated ‘Perfection’. Having become Principal, he has introduced several creative and positive changes in ‘Teaching-Learning Process’. He brought some new changes in co-curricular and in extra-curricular activities. He also guided the art of functions of NCC,NSS and Sports. Most importantly, during ‘Corona Time’, he introduced himself as a very judicious , prudent and caring principal .He managed everything skillfully and wisely in the college during ‘CORONA TIME’ that no one was inflicted by the disease. As a professor of commerce, he got his books : Compulsory Accounting’, ‘Final Accounting’, published from Kumar Publication. Dr. Ashok Patel has attended Seminars on ‘ Importance of Life Insurance’ and Best Option of Investment : Mutual Fund’. He has been invited as a chief guest and faculty to deliver a lecture on ‘Positive Attitude in Life and Motivation’ by Shri Brahmin Swarnkar Yuva Sangathan ,Ahmedabad.

PRATICHI, the Alumni Association of M. B. Patel Rashtrabhasha Arts and Commerce College, was established on 20 July 2008 to support student development and institutional growth. Guided by a faculty committee and managed by dedicated alumni members, PRATICHI actively organizes cultural and educational programs, camps, scholarships, and motivational lectures to strengthen the bond between past and present students.

The college has excelled in academics, sports, and co-curricular activities. Students achieved university ranks and gold medals, represented the institution at national-level sports, NCC, and NSS programs, and gained recognition at state and national levels. Faculty members earned Ph.D. degrees, published academic books, contributed to curriculum development, and strengthened learning through the establishment of the Rashtrabhasha Academy.
