With the establishment of the college the Department of Sociology was started.
Sociology subject is taught in Hindi as well as Gujarati medium.
At present the following faculties have been giving their services in the subject of sociology in Hindi Medium.
Dr. Yogesh Rajgor
Dr.Yogesh Rajgor is an Associate Professor and Head of the Department of Sociology ( Gujarati Medium ) He rendered his services as an In -charge Principal of this College for Five years. He has been Co-ordinator in different Exams taken by Gujarat University. At Present He is Member of Sociology Board of Study, Gujarat University, Sociology Curriculum Development Committee, Gujarat University, NSS Advisory Committee, Gujarat University and a Nodal Officer of Late. Purvi Satishbhai Dalal Trust, Ahmedabad. He is a Chairman in Sociology Subject of Gujarat University Exam.
He has Completed his Research work on “Changing Rural Society of Gujarat” ( In the Context of North Gujarat’s Village ) His Area of Specialization is Rural Sociology. He has published 15 Articles in Various Journals & Magazines. He has presented Research Papers in an International and National Seminars. He also wrote a Book on Personality Development. He is actively associated with ‘Spatdhara,’ especially with ‘Gyandhara’.

Dr. Shobhana Chauhan
Dr Shobhana Chauhan is an associate Professor of Sociology ( Gujarati medium). She has been teaching sociology at the undergraduate level for 31 years and at the postgraduate level for 10 years. The study of marriage family and caste , women study and to know the thoughts of youth are her chosen study fields. Her Ph.D topic is , ” Marriage family and caste and thoughts of Youths : A Sociological Study”. She has read and present several research papers at the International Conference and National seminar related to the above maintained topic . Her many articles have been published in many sociology magazines. She has also written Hindi and Gujarati short stories . She has rendered her duties as committee members of work committees of Gujarat University and Saurashtra University syllabus committee . She has also a convener of CWDC and nature club at college level. See spreaded awareness among students about saving the environment . She takes an active part in students activities like mountaineering camp ect. She also arrange expert lectures for solving different problems of girls students under CWDC . She is a committee member of Mahila Utkarsh Group.She also took initiative in making clay Ganpati in college campus by students during Ganpati Festival.

Dr. Smita Joshi
Dr. Smita Joshi is an Associate Professor of Sociology. She has the experience of twenty-eight years of teaching at Undergraduate level (since 1990) and nine years of teaching at Post-graduate level (since 1999). She has done her Ph.D. from Gujarat University on “A Comparative Study of Empowerment of Gujarati and Non-Gujarati Women of Ahmedabad”. Her field of specialization is “Women’s Problem” and “Social Problems”. She is a member of Internal Complaints Committee of Western Railway Ahmedabad Division and also for Central Organization for Railway Electrification, Ahmedabad and member of “Gandhi Vichar Prakalp”, Gujarat University. And member of Advisory Committee for Janshikshan Sansthan (Central Government), Gujarat University. She has attendee four International Conference. She has also got two books published in her name “Bharat Ke Gramin Samaj ke Samajik Pehlu” (1996) and a book on “NET, SLET” from Granth Nirman Board in 2010.

Dr. Sita Chaudhary
Dr. Sita Chaudhari is an Assistant Professor of Sociology .She teaches in Hindi medium. She has been teaching sociology at under graduate level for 13 years .She has passed NET exam with sociology subject. Her field of interest is to know the the problems of tribal area and to understand the problems of today’s youth. She has done her Ph. D. on “Change in Tribal Educated Youth” (With reference to the Tapi District of south Gujarat ). She is a member of the library of Gadat village .4 State level Seminar & National Seminar , conference and workshops are to her credit .She has got three research papers and three Abstracts in Journals.

Hindi Department started with the establishment of the college. Without any financial help the functioning of college and this Department continuedvery nicely.
At first the Department started under the leadership of Principal Mr. Navaneet Goswami. Prof. Sudha Singh was the supporter of Principal Goswami.
The work of the Department should run smoothly so many visiting professors gave their services.
Dr. Sudha Singh
Dr.Sudha Singh is an Associate Professor of Hindi since 1993. She is the head of the department of Hindi. She has noble purposes behind teaching the new generation. She equally handles the Post- Graduation department of Hindi with zest and zeal. She has different areas of specialization like “Madhyakalin Kavita”, “Mythological Poetry”, etc. She has edited various books like “Bindu Se Sindhu Tak”, “Kashi Se Karnavati” and “Maati Se Lehar”. She has been one of the coordinators of the college of IQAC and NAAC. She has an association with Sabarmati University as a member of the board of studies and as an examiner. She has a credit of three times talking on various topics through the medium of radio. She guided many Ph.D. students. She gave economic and social support to the weaker section of society. She has a keen interest in motivating the students and developing their self-confidence.

Dr. Suresh Nayi
Dr. Suresh Nayi is an Associate Professor of Hindi in the college. He has the experience of 23 years in the teaching field. He has done his M.Phil from Gujarat University and stood first. He has also accomplished his Ph.D. on ‘Maitreyee Pushpa Ke Katha-Sahitya Me Nari Chetan’ from Gujarat University. He has done ‘Teacher’s Training Programme’ organised by Higher Education Government of Gujarat, Gandhinagar. He also attended ‘A Capacity Building Programme of Hindi’ organised by KCG (Knowledge Consortium of Gujarat) Gandhinagar. He was also a Programme Officer of NSS during 2006 to 2011. He attended UGC sponsored seminar ‘Aaj ka Hindi Natak : Dasha Evam Disha’ at M.B. College of Commerce and Arts Dehgam. He attended a state level seminar on ‘Godan Ek Krushak Jivan Ka Mahakavya He’ at Smt. A. P. Patel Arts and Commerce College, Ahmedabad. He also worked as a co-ordinator and guide to the students who appear the exams of ‘Acharya, Kovid, Ratna’ taken by ‘Rashtrabhasha Prachar Samiti, Vardha.

Prof. Sharda Rajput
Prof. Sharda Rajput is a professor of Hindi. She has been teaching Hindi since 1994. She has the experience of teaching at the post graduation level for 15 years. She has expertise in the ‘poetry of Madhyakal’ and ‘Adhunik Upannyas’. She has been invited as a judge in the different competitions in various schools. She also has organized several state-level seminars. She is always active to do welfare activities of students development and upliftment. Her PhD topic is “Manoharshyam Joshi ke Upannyas me varnit Samasyaein”.

Dr. Vaishali Dholakia is an Associate Professor of Gujarati literature subject. She is Head of the Department in the college
She is one the senior faculties with an experience of 28 years.She takes of part zealously in almost all activities of academic and administrative. She is a skillful Anchor and does comparing job excellently.
Her specialization is ‘Medium transformation: fron Literature to Films’.
Dr. Vaishali has built a matchess parallel carrer in the panel of Ahmedabad Doordarshan’s announcers. She is also involved in Co-curricular activities and has contributed in honing musical, linguistics and inter -intra personal intelligence of the students.
She has provided creative leadership in various initiatives of Commissinerate of Higher Education , Government of Gujarat, namely Saptdhara and Sandhan ( Gujarat wide class room) and her contribution is widely acknowledged.

Name: Dr. Bhatt Bhagirathi Ketan
Dr. Bhagirathi Ketan Bhatt is an Associate Professor of psychology. She has 29 years of teaching experience at the under-graduate level and she is teaching post graduate students since 2007. Her aim is to make the psychology students understand that the best career in psychology by knowing their field of interest. She too conducts visit for students to Institute of Mental Health Centre at mental hospital, Mental Health Center and Child Care Center at Kanoriya Hospital, Industrial unit, B M Insititute, National Forensic science lab and National Forensic University Gandhinagar, Rashtriy Raksha University Dahegam ect. She also does Psychological counseling to students as well as she did telephonic counselling during corona period. She is a convener of Nature club (2007 to 2014). She also provided her duties as an NSS Program Officer (2011 to 2017) She did variety of social activities as well as academic activities as an NSS program officer. She also went to attend as a National level team leader of Gujarat adventure camp Arunachal Pradesh, NIC camp at Jodhpur Rajsthan, Pri- Re-public Day Pared Camp at Nagpur Mharashtra and Re-public Day Pared Camp organised at Delhi. She is presently working as Innovation club Coordinator from January 2022. She has been honored by “Udagam Charitable Trust” Gandhinagar with ‘Nari Shakti Ko Salam”. Dr. Kishor Mehta is professor of psychology. I have been in teaching profession since 1997 after post graduation. I was In G. K. and C. K Bosamiya Arts and Commerce College Jetpur and Vanda G. M. Bilakiya on temporary basis for 6 and 4 years respectively. I got Saurashtra University Educational approval and I stared working full time professor from 2004 to 2020 at G. M Bilakiya College of arts. Then I was visiting lecturer at V. D. kanikiya College Savarkundla for 2 years. After that currently I am giving survice at M. B. Patel Rashtbhasha From 27/08/2022 as Adhypak Sahayak.
I have published 5 books(ISBN NO.) . I have got good communication skills and my 8 Research paper has published in national Conference in magazine(ISSN Journal). I have worked as co-writer in C. Jamnadas Company when I published 5 books. I am awarded by ICSSR for my P.hD Work. I have presented 6 paper in National conference. I also presented 6 paper at state level conference. Then I have also got training in 6 psychological workshops.

The English Department was established on 15th June, 1993.
As it is said in the preceeding chapters that the college was not grantable, the trust paid all the teachers as per university scale.
There were a few full time lecturers. Visiting faculties were invited to take the lectures for almost all the departments. At present there are two full time lecturers in English.
Dr. Jinendra B. Jain
Prof. Jiendra B. Jain is an Associate Professor of English. He has an experience of twenty years in teaching and imparting education in English language and literature. He is also a good orator and announcer. He has delivered speeches on Jainism in different groups and small gatherings of people and students. He has successfully and expertly handled any academic, commercial or educational or religions programmes with his unstinting ability of announcement. His voice becomes another feather to his cap when Prof. Jain speaks on microphone. As an announcer, he makes a magic that the audience becomes spell bound. Prof. Jinendra Jain is also a good translator, there are four translated published books to his credit – ‘Achal’, ‘Angrezi Bole Sahi’, ‘Drishti Dosh Nivaran (Navneet Publication), and ‘Aum Arogyam’. There are still two more translated works that are under print. He has also been a recognised post-graduate teacher of Gujarat University. He has been taking lectures in the P.G. Center of Shri H. K. Arts college since 1996. He has also passed his PGDTE (Post Graduate Diploma of Teaching English) from University of teaching English as foreign Language (CIEFL, Hyderabad). He has also been a co-author of a text-book ‘Commercial Skills’ prescribed by Gujarat Technological University. He is the convenor and co-ordinator of SCOPE (Society of Creat Opportunities for Proficiency in English) that takes different English improving exams at Gujarat State Level. BEST (Best Education to Sustain Tomorrow) is an educational programme that is organised at the college level and Prof. Jain is one of the organisers to organise this educational-cum-vocational programme.

Prof. Rakesh Bharadwaj has been a faculty of English Department since 1993 in this college. He is famous for his lectures and motivation for competitive exams like UPSC, GPSC, Banking, SSC etc. all over Gujarat.Till now thousands of students are benefitted by his guidance with their success stories. He has been found very much interested in reading the learned people rather than library books.He has taught English at PG level also for so many years. He has attended and read papers at various national and international level seminars .
