Late Shri Jethalal Joshi founded Gujarat Prantiya Rashtrabhasha Prachar Samiti with a view to propagating the need and importance of Hindi language in Gujarat State. It is affiliated with Rashtrabhasha Prachar Samiti, Vardha, Maharashtra. In 1993, it has been thought to commence a college that can cater undergraduate courses through Hindi medium of instruction and thus it was sanctioned by Gujarat University and subsequently got recognition by the University Grants Commission. The college was allowed to impart education through both the mediums – Hindi as well as Gujarati Late Dr. Navneet Goswami became the first principal of the college. He was an eminent teacher of Hindi. He governed the college skillfully and admirably ever since the college got another Principal Shri Ujambhai Patel who also took the college to newer heights and also performed his duties to resolve certain administrative and academic intracacies. At this juncture, the college always remembers Late Shri Natubhai Patel whose contribution is indeed memorable during the administration of Late Dr. Navneet Goswami. Shri Natubhai Patel did teach and train the budding teachers of the time as how to make time table, how to make supervision chart, how to handle university exam etc. College is really thankful to such personality. After Shri Ujambhai Patel who retired on October 2012, acting Principle Dr. Y. D. Rajgore become the in-charge principle of the college and then Dr. Kanubhai Khadadiya came to the poet of principlship. After his retirement, Dr. Ashokbhai patel is the in-charege principle of the college at present.
To educate the youth with the variety of knowledge requirement and particularly the students belong to weaker strata of the society in this competitive age by the medium of Hindi as an official language as per our constitutional need”.
